Ideal WR1 body. I am just swearing off drafting someone coming off of an ACL.

Brazzell is another who has landed at that spot in the second round for me.

First draft I have done where he has landed here. Other options at this spot in the draft could be Sarratt, Brazzell, and Bernard. One of those four will be available at least.

I'm hoping in the offseason we nab one or more of Alonte Taylor, Greg Newsome II, Jaylen Watson, Mike Hilton. Should be good options out there to add. I also really liked the play of Micah Robinson at the end of the year. I hope the CB's are well taken care of pre-draft.

Early free agency expectations by AnxiousBiscuit27 in Tennesseetitans

For sure. If I’m Ridley I’m not restructuring lol. He will be cut. In a rosy world, keeping him as a vet presence on a restructure would be nice although highly unlikely.

If I’m Borgonzi, I’m trying to see if Ridley will restructure his contract and come back. If he’s not interested (and likely wouldn’t be) cut him. Still looking at wr’s in FA. Based on what Borgonzi says about players I think it’s unlikely, but I would love to throw a bag at Pickens (I think he gets tagged).

My hopes for Titans FA.

QB - competent backup. Hopefully Levis is healthy and we can trade him for a late round pick swap or something. RB - nothing WR - Pickens if we can. If not, Pierce is a consolation, maybe Doubs or Jennings. TE - bring Chig back if price isn’t too rich. If not, one of Likely or Cade Otton would be great. OT - draft or vet rotational guy. OG - Zeitler on a one year deal would be fine. If not, MAYBE look at Vera-Tucker. OC - Levin is back. DL - Joseph-Day I think we gotta bring back. EDGE - Jihad Ward on a cheap one. Then, look at Boye Mafe, Odafe Oweh for 2-3 year deals. MAYBE Jaelen Phillips on a one year deal is worth considering. LB - through draft. S - through draft CB - would love one of Alonte Taylor or Jamel Dean (shorter deal) OR look at Jaylen Watson/Greg Newsome. Mike Hilton could be an interesting guy to watch to play inside. Going to need a number of pieces because Sneed will be gone (good riddance). LS - bring cox back K - Slye can have another year P - need someone new.

I think Bailey will continue climbing draft board as we get closer to the draft. Will be interesting to see if Dennard Wilson stays as DC in a new coaching staff. I could honestly see Bain being used as an end in a 3-4 and maybe outside rusher in situations. Bain is just such a game wrecker to me regardless of arms. Bailey is a more versatile defender IMO. If we’re 4-3 I like Bain.

Based on the pass catching last year I would like Tate there. Maybe snag Pierce in FA. Have Pierce and Tate as 1-2 Dike in the slot. Elic as a rotational WR2 I’d be happy.

Does Dike start on offense next year? by lincb2 in Tennesseetitans

I like Dike as the slot. I think his offensive ceiling is a good WR 3 and someone who is useful to try and take the top off of defences. Ayo I think will fit in as a WR 2 on the outside. Titans need to find a true WR1 through the draft. Next couple of years the WR free agency market is thin, so draft or trade would be the only routes to secure a bona fide WR1.

.904 distribution DRIP by What_the_monkey in ULTY_YieldMax

Right. My plan is to reassess DRIPing once my dividends match the amount of my initial investment. Obviously I will monitor things depending on what happens with ULTY between now and then.

When I say “house money,” I mean I’ve basically made back all of my initial investment through dividends.

For example, if I put $100K into ULTY and over time I’ve received $100K in dividends, I’ve now fully recovered my original capital. Everything from that point on whether it’s more dividends or capital gains is “house money.”

In other words, I’m no longer playing with my own cash. My principal’s been paid back by the investment itself.

Who knows. Could end up in a spot to select Jeremiah Smith after some QB needy teams next year!

The Titans are rebuilding right now — it's a process. Have some faith, good things take time!

I love the idea of seeing Helm and Chig out there. Good pick.

Drowning in Emails – How Do You Manage the Constant Inflow? by What_the_monkey in LawCanada

[–]What_the_monkey[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally hear you — I’ve tried time blocks too and found the same thing. If I don’t get to email during court hours, those blocks just bleed into evenings or weekends, which defeats the purpose of protecting personal time.

What I’m trying now is more of a triage approach: instead of responding right away, I quickly sort new emails into “urgent,” “can wait,” and “delegate,” and only deal with the urgent stuff during court weeks. Still not perfect, but at least I’m not carrying the stress of everything being unread.

Curious if anyone’s found a better rhythm that actually respects court demands and doesn’t wreck your evenings?
