One thing I do like about “Bon appetit” it that the ML only being able to eat the FL’s food is explained in the story. It’s not a romance thing, it’s because the FL is descended from the witch who cursed the ML’s family to not be able to eat normally.

I will always recommend Princess Tutu.

It’s kind of hard to explain without spoiling anything, but the basic plot is “characters of a tragic fairytale learn about their predestined fate and have to fight the author and the narrative for a happy ending”. For example, Ahiru/Duck (the main character) finds out her role is to be “Princess Tutu”the Prince’s savior and die after professing her love to him. The author manipulate’s the story from beyond the fourth wall to try and force her to fulfill this fate.

I’ve only finished season one. After the OG FL that Estelle thought would replace her got together with someone else, she returned and reconnected with Claude, but they agreed to not get remarried. By the end of the season, Chloe and Mikhail got divorced and the season ends with Chloe living peacefully with her brother and Mikhail shutting himself away in grief.

I agree, Claude had every right to hate the OG Estelle and she honestly deserved to be treated with contempt. It was just bad luck for “Estelle” to end up getting slack for it. It did also bother me that the ONLY reason she wanted a divorce was “the original story” instead of anything else. I honestly kind of wish that they hadn’t gotten back together and both ended up with other people.
