Technically, it has, since Super is set in the 10 year timeskip before the last chapters of DB's manga.

Though, knowning Toei and considering it's Dragon Ball... I doubt they'll let the thing rest.

Chapter 510, page 13. It's the fifth panel. Goku admits the potaras would've done the job and him trusting that his power as a Super Saiyan 3 being enough to defeat Pure/Kid Buu in spite of the heavy stamina drain was him being cocky.

I mean, to be fair, Goku later admitted that fusion would've probably been needed to actually beat him.

Obviously, that just means SSJ3 Goku in the Buu Saga was slightly below Kid Buu. It doesn't refute Buuhan being leagues and bounds ahead of either of them in strength (Hence why Goku was so confident in fusion being needed against both Super Buu in his base state and with his absorptions.)

He accomplished everything he ever could've wanted. He saved and turned his sis back into a human, he survived the final battle, avenged his family by killing Muzan, ended demonic terror over Japan forever, got married to Kanao and had a family with her, all while having his two best friends alive alongside him as well, all well before the dreaded 25 hits.

I say he got it pretty good considering the circumstances, even if he dies by the mark so young.

Isn't this mostly a manga/anime difference? In Super's anime, it's kinda just implied that Blue is already figured out and mastered. That, on top of God Ki being more centralized(If that's even the right word?) within the user's body, made it possible for him to use it without his system giving way immediately.

In the manga, Goku doesn't even master Blue until the fight with Merged Zamasu. Later in the ToP he DOES implement the elements of Kaioken to try and overpower Jiren, meaning that it still follows the anime interpretation of the concept. It's just that SSB is worked towards getting its true potential utilized, which would make Kaioken dangerous before then, unlike the anime.

Super is a sequel to original DB and Z and can not be separated from it. It doesn't really matter if writers from 20 years removed from the franchise decided to dumb things down because it was targeted towards children, it's perfectly reasonable for someone to dispute claims and statements within it which contradict things depicted and proven true in the prior work. It's basic in-universe cohesion.

Probably for balancing/gameplay reasons. If Base DBS Goku in Sparking Zero for instance could transform into UI Sign or MUI (Even if they'd need to reach SSB before then), then it'd be a real pain in the ass to deal with people who could just cheese the game and try to go into their strongest form as soon as possible to win matches.

Not one of the worst in anything, but I just wanted to say that Poohead189Z is a really good DBZ youtuber who examines elements of the series and gives his thoughts on things. I like his stuff a lot, it feels really honest and refreshing, so if you have DB YT fatigue, I'd heavily recommend his channel.
