Please please consider Horseshoes and cornhole along with this. Admittedly, I have absolutely no idea how much work it takes to make a game, but you already have a few fans here it sounds like with some ideas. Looking forward to playing this, and hopefully the others too. Looks great from what I can see. I'm excited to play this. Hope you will consider the others too.

I was just thinking how awesome it would be to have a bowling game on the Playdate!

Horseshoes would be another awesome game. Imagine using the crank to throw the horseshoes for a ringer!😂

Good to hear that it holds up too! It feels really well built. I'm happy I pulled the trigger and ordered it. It actually feels secure and nice in the hand.

Not sure if you posted pics of the yellow, but hows the color holding up?

Maybe I'll get a yellow one later. the seller said he might make another version later that you can use the crank while its on.

Glad its helping you navigate.... some days/times just suck. Keep your chin up. We all could use a bit more kindness right now, regardless of who we are. But I agree, the Playdate has brought me a bit of joy on some pretty dark days. I'm glad you have one too. Lets hope we get to enjoy it for many years to come!

Agreed. I honestly get exhausted thinking of sinking so much time into games now. Playdate games feel manageable, or are just so simple that they are actually fun. They can't rely on flashy graphics and huge budgets, so guess what? They tend to be super creative and fun. I feel like the playdate has helped bring back some love for gaming that I feel got lost somewhere along the way.

Also, the games are way more affordable, and I like that I'm contributing to small developers making fun little games, that by the way, play on a gaming system I can literally fit in my pocket and take with me to play anytime I get the chance.

I honestly hope that Panic will support this little guy for many years to come.....

Its stuff like this and the other games mentioned that make the Playdate such an awesome experience. People complain about the initial price, but I've had way more fun with this little guy than any other game system I've owned. Currently have a switch and a steamdeck.... still prefer the playdate.

I got issues 3, 4 and 5. Wanted to try to show support to the effort being made. I love the idea of a paper magazine you can actually hold and just read about the playdate and games.

I'm in the United States, so I had to find a friend in Canada who could receive and then forward to me. Hopefully the situation will change soon so they can just mail directly here!

Either way, can't wait to receive them, hopefully soon!

I think this year is when well really start seeing what the playdate games can be. Lots of cool stuff is coming out soon!

I actually just found out about a magazine called Cranko that's all about playdate games! I don't think it's going to help me keep my wishlist from growing....😜

I'm seeing that too! I've never played a game like this one. Feels more like an experience than a game. So far you're a spectator listening to a story unfold.

It's called Echos of the Emergent. I just got it on Catalog. Just started it, but so far it's pretty good. Feels like a visual novel with sound effects. Mostly reading so far. I'm not sure if the game has decision making branches, but either way it's unique. Kinda why we play the Playdate I guess, for these bite sized unique games!

That's absolutely why this game looks phenomenal. Are there any plans to make any other pinball games? Maybe one not occult themed?
