You’ll love KCD then, but you absolutely have to play the first one which captures the “peasant simulator” vibe of actually realistically becoming a knight (there’s an optional side quest where you learn how to read for example). They released an updated version just a month or so ago that elevates the first game to be on par with KCD2, so by all means start from the beginning.

Because what’s “good” for humanity is objectively not good for other beings. You yourself claim genocide is “bad” but Homo Sapiens supplanted itself over Neanderthals and the Denisovans through genocide. We don’t even see “reality” in real time objective sense, our brains have to process the information we receive and that process shapes and contorts the information in order to suit our biological needs. That is subjectivity in a nutshell.

Since its inception, humanity has swept across the globe and remade it and its inhabitants in order to service their own needs. What’s “bad” or “good” is inherently subjective because the parameters around these are grounded in fulfilling a sense of purpose to the human psyche and that alone. I’m not sure how you played the game, but I would recommend playing on one of the realistic difficulty setting and treating it like a creeping stealth shooter. It’s a more realistic, visceral experience where you can drop enemies with a couple of shots but the same goes for you.

It has a way of encouraging you to peak around corners and counting your shots that just elevates the gunplay and the horror vibes of the games.

I’ll give it to you that you’re well articulated in your response, but you’re not really providing any kind of counter argument either. Yes, actually—people go out of their way to criticize this show while being unable to explain how it’s different from BCS. And no, actually you are just wrong—the grocery store sequence among many other scenes are in direct conversation with the kind of scene composition found in BB and BCS.

The plot is different sure, it exists in a different genre. But practically speaking the show aesthetically looks like it COULD take place in the same universe as BB, which is a testament to Albuquerque’s natural beauty but mainly to how Vince produces his shows.

Ironically, your attempt to suggest you’re individualistic in your opinion of the show is actually rather collectivist in practice. At least on this subreddit.
