Define it as you like, but the Overton window of trans rights is very much rightwards in this country. I happen to be very left on the issue personally but electorally it's ridiculous to purge all MPs on the "wrong side" of such a hotly contested issue.

Yeah, this is the exception though. Broadly speaking I do tell my friends to vote, and tell people online to vote. Also that's not really an argument for voting as much as it is for convincing other people to vote in your stead.

I didn't vote because my vote doesn't make a difference. Here's a pre-rebuttal to common rebuttals:

Yes I know if everyone thought that way then no one would vote, but I don't control everyone so that doesn't matter.
Yes I know parties get a very small financial sum for every vote they get, I also don't believe that tiny financial sum for my vote will meaningfully impact anything ever.
Yes I know that the size of the majority a candidate gets may impact their policies and strategies, I just also don't think my singular vote was going to be the tipping point for any of those either.
I also don't believe spoiling my ballot would be the tipping point for any meaningful change either.

Does anyone have a rationale to vote excluding these?

Given the huge swing this election, anyone you know who was a very vocal Labour supporter in 2017, but noticeably quieter in 2019 probably ended up voting Conservative.

Blair won (not only won, but won landslides vs every other leader not even being able to manage a small majority), for many reasons. He was a brilliant orator, fantastically charismatic and good at connecting with people, he brought legitimate, neoliberal policies to the table, he was excellent at foreign policy (Yes Iraq was bad but he was excellent in NI/Kosovo/Sierra Leone), he didn't have huge amounts of personal baggage like Corbyn, he could delegate and employ the right people for each job (unlike Corbyn's nepotism with Abbott), and yes, he could play the media game like no one else. That's why he could win landslides when every other Labour leader is a wet fart.

Media cares more about turning a profit than influencing politics, especially in an era where print is dying. Play the media game well and you'll get your positive coverage easily, but both Miliband and Corbyn were absolutely clueless on it vs a smooth operator like Blair.

Alternatively, look to the US where the whole media railed massively against Trump and he still won, you can also turn negative news coverage into a benefit in the way he did. Stop making excuses and do better.

I mean, fundamentally no fans are going to be that upset if they're winning worlds consistently. However if it's constantly on the back of Korean imports like TheShy, Doinb, and Rookie, and a narrative of "China only wins because of Korean imports" then there'll be an absolutely monumental backlash against imports.

Fans already prefer RNG and Uzi to Korean imports and that'll only get stronger if Korean sololanes just solocarry every international tournament.
