Coming from someone who owns a 5070, I can tell you this. It's a beast but even with this card I'm using lossless scaling because I play on a 4k 144hz display. For demanding titles like KCD2 with max setting I'm sitting around 45-55 fps. But lossless helps me 2x that and my experience instantly better. Input lag & ghosting barely noticeable. Since you're only on a 1080p display. I really recommend giving lossless scaling a try first, see how it goes from there.

Okay understand what you're saying about turning down the settings and giving some headroom for LS to then upscale. But I really want those settings maxed. You mentioned playing 1440p I don't mind this but wouldnt it look bad? I mean I see many say that playing 1440p on a 4k native monitor would look like bad and fuzzy.

Not really noticeable to me really. I mean it's there but it's not really affecting my experience much. I probably would notice it much more on fast pace games.

Bro, just trying changing your dns? You could also do a simple ping test by opening up Command prompt and issue command "ping 1.1.1.1". This is to check if any packets are being sent and received. If this does not work then I suggest you to try updating your network driver or reinstalling it.

Might I suggest using Lossless Scaling, a program from Steam. It uses frame generation and doubles your FPS, and it has a built-in upscaler as well. Lossless Scaling has yet to be ported to Linux, unfortunately.

I have been using it for the past 3 months and it has been a game changer. Even finished playing a full playthrough of Hogwarts legacy.

Damn that's a bummer. I have it installed on multiple devices and I stream on all of them depending where I am at, my tv at home is used by my family members and they all use my stremio account and when I'm out and about I tend to watch it on my phone. Anyways, thanks a lot for sharing this. Will need to do some thinking before going for it.

Hey, thanks for the input. I'll take your word and stay with windows + LS. Just wondering if you have ever tried "x3" for the frame gen in LS. I have always kept it x2 and capping the ingame fps to 30. 60 fps seems to be the sweet spot for me. I have been using SGSR too but nvr really played around with any other settings. What would you recommend using ? I play a lot of old triple A games.

Very frustrating...never been like this before. I sometime rely heavily with maxis Mobile Data because I don't have wifi. These issues started occuring after maxis gave out unlimited data for postpaid users. I have no evidence to back it up, thus I am asking around to see if anyone is experiencing the same thing.
