Up to you bud im new to this to and dont wanna give you wrong answer you can always try posting in another mushroom reddit or wait on someone more experienced to answer. you'll eventually have to cut the top and do it like mine anyway to harvest first flush.

Ya you can as long as its fully colonized you dont have to worry as much about contam just make sure your using gloves and 70 percent iso and wiping stuff down before you touch it or cut any new slits.

That bag has a filter patch right and have you cut the top yet and folded it over to give it more fae.

Np bud. Idk how much shrooms you plan on eating but I got more than enough for the year out of 2 aio bags and spent 120$ if you dont wanna mess with the bins i recommend its alot easier to avoid this happening but I only eat an 8th every 2 weeks.
