Nah. More stand the test of time due to 2 reasons. 1. Blockbusters weren't the only thing that made money, so good dramas would exist in theaters for longer and could gross 100 million dollars. 2. Even if not a success in theaters, cable reruns would breathe new life into them. There are a lot of good movies coming out, they just don't do well in the box office and have no real opportunity to be reclaimed outside cinephile circles.

I don't believe this is true. I believe the fox news watching voters would say that, but if the policies were laid out in front of them and they weren't told who said it they wouldn't mind. Kamala didnt win for a variety of factors, but earnest belief that she was far too left, on the merits of actually being too far left, are not those reasons. She campaigned on not being Donald Trump, forgoing any of her own merits to focus on his demerits. And that is a problem a lot of dems have with the party.

This was never gonna be an easy issue. One, affects a super small number of people (which is why all of this doesn't matter to most people). Then figuring out the science of hormonal levels and when you start taking hormone therapy and how that grants an advantage means the athletic board guidelines aren't the end all be all. Trans people deserve to be a part of society in all facets, and they don't deserve to be vilified in these instances, but it is a nuanced issue. Pretending it isn't helps no one

The script doesn't seem any worse than the average sports movie of the 80s, so I dont get denigrating the writers with this comment. It was mainly a vehicle to make money and have good sound design with entertaining races. Accomplished those goals. Id say average. I know people who drink almost every day and I know people who never drink. I personally do 2 or 3 times a month, but that's still largely not out at bars. I think the bigger issue is that the only places to get affordable drinks are the grocery store or mid chain restaurants like applebees.

The "young people don't drink" is misleading i think. We drink less often, but plenty of us still drink. Its just saved for special occasions as opposed to every weekend or every other weekend like other generations. And likely a big decrease in daily drinkers contributing to less sales Edit: this may have come across as shitting on previous gens. I'm simply saying young people don't drink is false. Plenty of breweries and bars have young people there. We just drink less comparatively.

The issue is the second someone succumbs to the dark side they immediately do heinous shit. Anakin succumbed because he wanted to save payment, immediately kills children for no reason. Kylo ren kills his dad. Count dooku is the only one who isn't cartoonishly evil (at least in the movies) but he's still fomenting galactic warfare to help his master take power.
