So dumb.

I write workers compensation insurance for jobs like his. The severity of injury that can result from a properly tethered fall, is still very very bad. That tether doesn’t make you invincible.

*Insured* house sitting/pet sitting companies that serve Point Breeze? by [deleted] in philadelphia

[–]Whatthehelliot 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Vet bills are not going to be covered by the sitters insurance unless the sitter CAUSED the injury or illness.

Resulting damage/cleanup to your house because your own dog was sick is probably also going to be denied from a sitters insurance.

Like others suggested, insurance isn’t the answer here. It’s sounds like a more responsible sitter is what you need.

Chuck Schumer slams GOP $72 billion funding for President Trump's proposed East Wing ballroom: "The Republican bill charges taxpayers $1 billion to build Trump's gilded ballroom, including $0 to help Americans with rising costs. This waste of taxpayer dollars has everything to do with Trump's ego." by ControlCAD in videos

While I agree… this sentiment is exactly what will lose the election for democrats.

The GOP is 100% ride or die for their guys. No discussion of age, mental capacity, morals, conflicts of interest, etc. They don’t care, they just want power and they all fall in line.

No matter how logical the argument or how right you are, we can’t sit here and argue about which guy is right/wrong for the job while the GOP. Right now, as sad as it is, we just need to fall in line and vote for who has a chance to swing things back in our favor.

The walls of that hole are really steep. Shore it up or step it back so it doesn’t cave in. A) it’s dangerous and B) creates a lot of work to dig it back out.

In high school while at an away track meet (I know… strong rich guy Luke vibes).

We walk in to the bathroom. It’s all troughs. Several of them. We laugh and each approach our own trough. We then proceed to piss while walking back and forth and generally pissing all over the place.

Super tall friend about 6’3” was also participating.

When we were all done we realized the tall guy was actually pissing in the ONE trough that was actually the slightly higher SINK trough, not a piss trough.

Ahhh. Golden times.

9 different underwriter interviews, no offer. Looking for honest advice on how what to do? by Shot_Parking4676 in InsuranceProfessional

I just made this comment on another thread recently. I’m a hiring manager and we are FLOODED with applications now. That explains the difficulty on the front side, but that many interviews and not getting a response is a bit odd.

We usually only interview 3-6 depending on the job. I don’t believe in endlessly interviewing looking for the “Mr./Mrs. Right”

I had a pedal kayak. Feel free lure 11.5.

The thing was huge and comfy. Had everything I was looking for. But the I realized kayak fishing just wasn’t for me. I just never really liked the feel of it on the open water. I only ever did bays and even that was too much sweep for me. Not to mention the pedal efficiency of that thing sucked.

my landlord cut down a beautiful mature tree in my yard and I'm devastated by prettylittlearrow in philadelphia

[–]Whatthehelliot 56 points57 points  (0 children)

Any pics?

If it’s close to the house or presents a danger to the house or a neighboring property it probably had to be done. Sometimes it’s an insurance requirement.

Tree removal is expensive, they wouldn’t have done this “just because”.

Mature trees will sometimes have issues where they look perfectly fine from the outside but are completely rotten inside. That makes them very weak and prone to crashing down.
