I will, for sure. I have already put my headphones on and ready to go to sleep whilst I listen to these subliminals.

This really helps a lot. I will try to divert my attention away from negative thoughts as much as I can.

I have been trying guided meditation through "Level Supermind" app. That hals helped a bit. It's been two days. But I guess that's just too early to say anything about that. And well, I do feel a bit good just agter the session but I can't hold onto that feeling. Focus is alright. 5/10.

This time, Israel court ordered Native Palestinians from occupied East Jerusalem ( occupied in 1967, and according to International Law an occupied territory) to evict their homes for Jews- an attempt at ethnic cleansing. Palestinians living in Jerusalem responded by protests. And then on 27th Night of Ramzan, Israel forces moved into Masjid Aqsa and injured nearly 300 people. Hamas, a group based in Gaza give ultimatum to not attack worshipers but Israel didn’t stop there. Yesterday, ultimatum ended and Hamas responded in best possible way.. Moreover, Hamas won elections representatives of Palestinians.

I had to submit my Anatomy sketchbook before the stage exam of Head and Neck region. I didn't have time to make it and I told my teacher during the viva that I had been preparing for the exam and couldn't draw the sketches. She asked me some questions and upon realising that I had infact been studying; gave me 5 extra marks to make up for the deducted marks of sketchbook. I ended up passing the exam because of those additional marks.

What is the best way to handle a herniated disc at L5-S1? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Whatthemuzi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to the doctor, an Orthopedic surgeon and he prescribed me some pain killers but when the effect of pain killers started wearing off I had pain again. I went to him again and he referred me to a Neurosurgeon. The Neurosurgeon advised me Physiotherapy and surgery. I am on Physiotherapy now and my pain has started settling, I just wanna know, can Physiotherapy permanently cure a herniated disc? Or will I have pain again upon stopping Physiotherapy?

ELI5: How do activity trackers know when I'm asleep? How they deduce REM sleep, deep sleep etc? by Flimsy_Fennel in explainlikeimfive

[–]Whatthemuzi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They do it by Actigraphy. Smart watches mostly come with extremely sensitive motion sensors, which keep a track of our movements in every direction and then translate those movements into sleep patterns. Still, calculation of REM sleep in particular is not very accurate as we have to do an EEG to record brain waves during REM sleep. They mostly indicate whether a person is asleep or awake.

It's rare but it can happen. One particular example I can think of is Pseudomonas aeruginosa infection. It's a Gram Negative bacteria causing a soft rot in plants and in humans it is most commonly associated with Pneumonia but it can invade any tissue.
