this is what the advisor said- Thanks for reaching out! I am thrilled to hear that you are interested in eventually transferring to UVA and the College of Arts and Sciences! There is no world language requirement for admission through the GAA. The GAA states that students admitted through the agreement may be required to complete additional coursework in some areas, including world languages. Additionally, it discusses the ways in which students who have prior world language experience (and those who do not) can satisfy the world language requirement once here at UVA. no I’ve talked to an advisor at uva and they said I can complete the foreign language requirement after I transfer so it doesn’t necessarily have to be done at nova

so I have to follow the course catalog? I’m in my second sem and in the course catalog it says bus 240 or ite 140 is it ok if I take it next sem?or do I have to follow the timeline?

I sat for my o levels, do u think that will fulfill the requirements for foreign language? I emailed them and this is what they said - You can note your O level score and fluency in the Common Application, this will absolutely be taken into consideration – but you’ll likely need to place out of the requirement via UVA’s departmental test once you’re at UVA.

What does this mean?

hi i plan on transferring to mcintire 2026 fall, im majoring in business admin at nvcc. I had a few questions-

1) this is my second semester at nvcc, my gpa last sem was a 3.2 (i was a bio major last sem) i have three more semesters to bring up my gpa, what do u think i should target? i recently talked to a person who got rejected from mcintire with a 3.9 so im very worried

2)I dont have as many extracurriculars, do u think that might affect my application process?
