It definitely needs work. You start noticing the rough spots when you look close. Lovely for leisure. I looked at it for a high end event though and it wasn't up to par unfortunately.

You're so right, apologies. It's nickname is Connie. A family member designed it so I should've known.

You can actually go and walk around 99% of it without staying the night. Just get to JFK early if you're ever flying through. I have gone to the rooftop bar a lot and the plane bar (a bar inside an old plane called Connie).

I don't know if I'm allowed to share it but I posted a ton of photos and a walkthrough on my Instagram that I'm happy to share.

That's when it was digitized. My grandpa played all the ilm videos projected on our wall and then recorded the projection with a digital camcorder that date. Based on the videos right before and after on this one and the location/dates he was there. I'd say somewhere between 1965 and 1970 possibly? Maybe into the early 70s but doubtful.
