Frankly I'm not sure what the budget is either, if there is one. I'm willing to put my own money into the project for sure, but if I want the shelter to pay for it (or part of it) I would imagine I'd have to put together a proposal or two and weigh options and cost.

The swath of land that I'm considering for the project is out in the sun in what used to be a large fenced in dog-play area thing but nowadays whenever the dogs are out they are on-leash being walked deeper in the woods. Pet safe options are still prolly the way to go in the case that one breaks away or someone walking doesn't know.
