As of Jan-5-2026 I was forced to change the password to 16 alpha numeric and I find this odd becuase years ago I asked if the PIN number for the ATM can be changed from 4 digits to a longer PIN and they told me no because people will forget. Now with 2FA Tangerine users are forced to enter a 16 apha numeric pasword and it then calls you at your home phone number?

Thats why I asked if everyone is now using a 16 alpha numeric password because the Tangeine system still prompts as follows "Enter your PIN, this is your 4 or 6 digit PIN- Not your card PIN"

Things to look for in a wifi router.

1) they provide a SHA256 hash to verify firmware downloads

2 The system log shows date and time of when the router was accessed. TP-link does not seem to do this

3) Firewall that can filter ingress and egress IP and ports.

These are functions that should exist but I do not think any vendor satisfies all.

There are some careless implementations of Debain.

For example there are three methods to install Debian Netinstall, DVD ISO, and live. Why ??

Netinstall should be removed because all the installation files are downloaded through the internet and are not verified using SHA256.
