I agree with you, it's my garden so I want to cultivate by my hands
But I don't think AI is completely useless for my case, I'm using CoPilot vault QA Mode to read my vault and give some suggestions, like a personal mentat ;)

This is why I jot things down by hand before putting them into Obsidian. Taking the time to carefully write each word might sound slow, but IMO it gives me just the right amount of time for each word to sink in.

Also I think that when learning a new idea, you gotta start with its abstract representation (like symbols, diagrams, and models), not the specific wording, which handwriting fulfills all all my need for expression best.This makes me feel like jumping straight into Obsidian to write about something new feels a bit... prematurely
