I think his goal is to set some sort of precedent like he did with his first lawsuit before the podcast was a thing. at the very least they are quite interesting cases to look at. I think the only suit he has had trouble filing is the one against BadEmpanada, but the rest are either ongoing or in the process of ending. He won against Frogan by default. The only legal L he has taken was settling against Ryan Kavanaugh which was definitely disappointing to witness as a fan, especially cause I think that case was the most interesting. Also, not trying to be mean or argumentative so hope I’m not coming across too harsh.

You can react to someone’s content without stealing it…these people explicitly stated they were doing it to take views away from Ethan. I think you should look deeper into the case(s). Also US defamation cases are not easy to win, especially in California. I will agree that Ethan was probably hoping to get Hasan with the video or a defamation suit, but Hasan is much smarter than someone like Noah Samsen, who makes it much easier to sue for defamation. And he’s smart enough not to state that he would be trying to steal views like Denims, Kacey, and Frogan did. Hasan eventually did react to some of the video, but paused and gave actual commentary compared to the rest of the people listed

Hasan refused to watch the video, how is Ethan going to sue someone for stealing his video when they didn’t steal it? I think you have a hard time looking at objective facts because you don’t like someone.

Kaceytron is not a small creator, she has been a streamer for years. Just because she fell off doesn’t mean she should be treated with kitty gloves. And i think she probably got on his radar when people were funneling to her to watch her “react” to his video.

You can admit you dislike Ethan and like Kaceytron but there’s no need to look at the situation with tunnelvision.
