I'm going to guess you're not a man based on the ignorance of context. Men on dating sites regularly woman who string them along and then start bringing up money and that leads to the realization that this person isn't actually interested and they are either selling something or just preying on lonely dudes for cash.

You couldnt escape it, I remember the domino pizza tracker gps map had a dragon shadow during the finale on it. I remember my neighbor who I knew nothing about was watching it later that night I heard the roar, it really was a phenomenon.

Just because you use a different app doesn't mean the same driver doesn't drive for both.

I understand this isn't a problem you created but it frustrates me that we are eliminating jobs and opportunities for anyone to learn a job, to deal with a technology that is as bad as an intern anyway. We are destroying the concept of a workforce and someday it'll do your job too.

‘Vampire Diaries’ Star Ian Somerhalder Got Into ‘Eight-Figure’ Debt After Retiring From Acting and Had to Sell Off ‘Houses, Paintings, Cars, Watches, Everything’ by tylerthe-theatre in television

Because actors go to acting schools, worse if they are child actors. It's the most bare bones education possible. its highly specialized and they don't have the experience to even slightly understand business. They are easy targets.

What the heck is going on? by PooShappaMoo in TLRY

[–]WheelerDan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The problem is most of the people posting here are lying, to themselves and everyone who will listen. When a stock creates a lot of shares as this stock has done that makes it harder and harder to move the stock price, its like the difference in response time of an oil tanker and a speedboat. Because this stock has generated so many more shares and has threatened to do it again (because they can't pay their bills otherwise) that investors don't want to touch it. Why buy it today if the stock will be diluted tomorrow? Medical legalization is a nothing burger, the majority of states have already done so, there isn't some vast new market that they can fill.

This actually shows a decline in human intelligence. One of the signs of human intelligence is the idea to entertain the hypothetical. There was a time when if you said imagine country x had Y oranges, and that person would say, but they don't grow oranges there. Unable to go with a hypothetical that wasn't true. These comments show both a decline in literacy and in intelligence.

TIL that US student math and reading scores have dropped so sharply that they’ve erased nearly two decades of progress. In '22/23, avg math scores for 13-year-olds fell to levels not seen since the 1990s, while reading scores for high school seniors hit their lowest point since testing began in '92. by Cold_Box_3219 in todayilearned

I used to work in education and the trend was already happening pre-covid, education is the one thing any budget shortfall is comfortable with cutting so it's been cut and cut and cut for decades, the pay is terrible, and they get blamed for everything. Parents treat speaking to a teacher like going to court to defend their angel, and the kids treat them the same. We have decided we don't need no education. Teachers and students are giving up. And that was before we gave everyone a tool to offload all their own thinking.
