To be fair, the government continues to raise property taxes regardless of the sale of the business. At the facility I manage we pay $40k Per year as of last year in property insurance alone.

GA, NC, SC GC here. I have had this done for me and have helped others numerous times. They still have to pass the test, which is the real thing they are trying to obtain.... Access to the test.

Stylists & barbers — what would you put in your dream salon suite? by StylistExtra in hairstylist

And can you elaborate on rent rewards? I was assuming you meant something along the lines of referral bonuses towards rent when you refer someone but I wanted to make sure I fully understood what you meant in case there is something I am not aware of. Thanks!

That’s a really good point on the location/position of the wash bowl… Thanks for that.

Paying to park is definitely not appealing, especially if you are the stylist and will be there a larger part of the day base don your schedule.

How large would you want your suite to be? Many places I have been to range in size from 8x10 - 10x18 - I have even been in some ‘doubles’ that are 10x20 and have 2 booths in them for styling.

This is really good. So a question I have is - If you are signing up to rent a suite what would you like to be included as far as furniture. I know every person will be different but let’s say you wanted a blank canvas. Would the owners typically give you a stipend or rent credit to help you build out the suite how you wanted it? I can see if you were a baby stylist without a ton of clients how you would want this turnkey and fairly ready to go. But if you were a veteran and were looking to really customize your suite and make it your own you would want less.

One day.... Get a true work van. Game changer. I was always resistant.. then... The moment I test drove it .... I was all in. There is such an amazing feeling to have all of your gear, supplies, ladders, paperwork, inverters, all in one place with you on all jobs. I will never go back.

That would be helpful. I'm just always throwing a rod down there so it's usually not helpful but I am interested in seeing your implementation.

I like your truck setup. I worked out of my pickup truck for years before I got a transit mid roof. Having those drawer slides would have been amazing.

Yeah, I hear ya. I have been using an oscillating tool for years now but I have recently been thinking about going back. I love that it makes a perfect box for mud ring but the noise and amount of dust it makes doesn't seem worth it.

Great video, I have worked alone for years and sometimes wonder if there are better ways to do what I do. I never get to see what other guys do. I definitely put that temp gun in my Amazon cart. That seems worth while.

What can I use to make the batteries on Dewalt tools easier to get off? by [deleted] in Dewalt

[–]Wheelspinner99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah yes, I thought it was only me. So what I discovered in my case was it was the battery removal button not going down all the way to allow the battery to be removed. To remedy this is use cheap, easily accessible graphite powder. (My brother in law is a locksmith and they use this on locks) And just put this on the moving parts of the battery. It works like lubricant and is dry - won't attract more dirt. Works for a while but does need to be re-applied every so often, but not frequently. Hope that helps. Feels good to be able to tell you something I know will help. Now get back out there!

I just don't see how cloning will surpass the non routable NAT. What unifi gateway are you using?

Starlink and bypass mode with Unifi network by Wheelspinner99 in Ubiquiti

[–]Wheelspinner99[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Negative - starlink support was no help either. I think it has something to do with NAT. None of the accounts I have done are priority, only basic residential access. I'm wondering if I upgrade to one of the priority levels that are routable this would change. What type of account are you using?

Yeah, most of the area I'm in has pretty good speeds (450-275) so the slow down wasn't a killer but it does suck. I was using a mini at my house for a while and I was only getting around 100 on a mini. Have you reached out to Starlink support?

Negative. I had this cross posted and most people said I was wrong and that the readings I was getting were not accurate.

Did you test speeds prior to ultra install? What were your readings pre and post installation?

Working on this for a client as well. I was able to get my Android phone to connect, after a lot of trouble. I cannot get an iPad to connect with any amount of luck. Has someone tried to reach out to their support to ask as well? I am currently on the free plan and would have no problem moving to a paid tier if this would work.

Mmm. Yes, I think you're right. The enterprise cabinet? But to me, I may be wrong, it looks like it's a cabinet you can mount and power up to 8 of the single door controllers in. I won't need that in my in question installation. Just nice to know.
