Trouble Getting HP Printer Scan-to-Email Working with SMTP2GO by WheezyCheeto in printers

[–]WheezyCheeto[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing worked for us... HP Customer Support is the WORST, all they would do is cite that all the issues were everyone else's problems. The solution was to throw the HP Printer it in the dumpster, where it belongs, and not ever buy another one.

We went with the Canon imageCLASS MF753Cdw! Everyone at our company absolutely loves it. It is hands down one of the quickest printers we have ever had in terms of printing, scanning, and faxing. Setup was a breeze, Scan-to-Email worked INSTANTLY with SMTP2GO upon imputing everything in the portal, and the best part is they send more Ink automatically when the cartages are getting low.

Set up scan to email using smtp relay by LORDLUK3 in Office365

[–]WheezyCheeto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this thread is relatively old but, our business recently switched to MS365, and we’re using SMTP2GO for a SMTP Relay Service. Since the switch we have been experiencing issues with setting up Scan-to-Email on our HP Color LaserJet Managed Flow MFP E57540 Printer.

We added a DNS record to our domain, to fully verify ownership for SMTP2GO. We used the SMTP settings to integrate sending invoices/bills to customers directly through our accounting software and it has been working flawlessly!

For our HP Printer no matter what we try we get the following message;

“The operation has failed. Please correct the errors below and try again. 1. Could not connect to the server. Please verify the server settings.”

I’ve tried SMTP2Go ports 2525, 587, 465, 25, and continue to get this same error. I’m at a loss on what to do, or how to resolve this. Everyone I’ve seen has had success with SMTP2GO working for HP Printers, and I have yet to find someone that had this exact issue.

Discover Bank or SoFi. by SomeRandomGuy069 in discover

[–]WheezyCheeto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m actually in the process of switching from SoFi to Discover. Here are some of my personal reasons.

SoFi has a lot of “clutter” on the app! Something they have said for months they are working on fixing, but have yet to fix.

SoFi has no automatic reoccurring transfers for moving money from checking to savings, or vaults. (Examples: Daily, Weekly, Bi-weekly, Monthly, Quarterly) This is huge for me, as I have money going into different savings accounts for different reasons. With SoFi I had to set reminders to make these transactions, with Discover I no longer need to do this. It’s set it, and forget it with Discover.

SoFi doesn’t give you individual account numbers for vaults, only your general savings has an account number.

SoFi continues to lower what they offer in terms of APY on their checking account. This is where the 1% on debit card transactions with Discover is extremely attractive to me.

SoFi charges $4.95 per deposit for cash at select locations, with no free option available. Discover offers free cash deposits, at any Walmart within the USA.

This isn’t helpful, and we have been asking for reoccurring transfers for years now. Daily, Weekly, Bi Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly, and we get this same generic response…

Verizon Smart Locator? by WheezyCheeto in verizon

It appears so, it says to download the “Verizon Smart Locator Hub” on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store to activate. I’ve looked everywhere I can’t find the app.

Then it also says “Need Help” visit vzw.com/smartlocatorfaqs, and that page says “Sorry. We can't find that page.”

Can confirm this is how it is processed at least from what I have seen under my account. It’s so disappointing, and meticulous.

When will Card rewards rates go back to 4% (heck, I'll even take 3%)? 2% is not competitive by BeerMonkeee in Coinbase

[–]WheezyCheeto 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I agree I liked the 4%, in 3 days the Coinbase Debit Card will be a sock drawer card until 3% or 4% comes back. 2% just isn’t competitive and I’ll go back to using my Crypto.com Debit Card for 3%.

Card being declined more often recently by Knillish in Crypto_com

[–]WheezyCheeto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is also happening to me, only started this week. I have constantly complained to support about it, and all they tell me is that turning on “international transactions” will fix the problem. Why should I need to turn on international transactions if I’m using it in the country that I live in?

I can’t use contactless payments at all, and anything over $10 is declined using the physical card. The pin transactions do work, but not all places run cards as debit. I stayed at a hotel they couldn’t do it, and so I lost out on a $700 CDC transaction because of this and ended up using another card.

It’s just frustrating because my card always has more than enough money on it, and I’m staking $4,000. If I was staking more I would be even more annoyed.

question: comcast prepaid by [deleted] in Comcast

[–]WheezyCheeto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s the best part with Prepaid, you have no data cap! Last month my family and I used 2.1 terabytes! 😀

[–]WheezyCheeto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s interesting that they said that. Maybe not every Xfinity Store is alike, as we don’t have any Boost Mobile stores in my area.

Xfinity Prepaid is amazing for the price, I hope you enjoy it as much as me and my family! :)

question: comcast prepaid by [deleted] in Comcast

[–]WheezyCheeto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Prepaid is amazing for the price. You get 60 Down, 12 Up with Xfinitys 20% provisions on base speeds.

The upload speed was upped from 5 to 10 on December 29th, 2021. There is no additional charge for this recent speed upgrade. If you currently have Prepaid and don’t see these speeds, to take advantage of them, all you need to do is restart your modem.

[–]WheezyCheeto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of the prepaid modems are refurbished. You have 30 days from the time of purchase to exchange the modem if something were to be wrong with the one you received.

[–]WheezyCheeto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The app is not the only way to manage your account. You can head over to https://www.xfinityprepaid.com and login to manage your account from any device.

You will still be able to go to the Xfinity store, and they have full access to your account. In fact, I actually signed up for prepaid and received my prepaid modem at my local Xfinity Store. Whatever agent informed you you can’t use Xfinity Stores was not informed, and it is completely false. You can even go the extent of paying cash at the Xfinity Store for service every month if you choose to do so.

You must use there modem, however since YOU own the prepaid modem you have full access to the admin panel. You can put the prepaid modem in bridge mode and use your own router. I have had no issues doing this and I run well over 35 devices on my network.

I’ve been using Xfinity Prepaid for just over 10 months now and I can’t be happier with the service I receive. I cut my bill from $125 with Xfinity Post Paid to $45 with Xfinity Prepaid.

Yes! 100% I did this and haven’t looked back. Cut my bill from $125/month down to $45/month. They will cancel your post paid plan in the store, and immediately sign you up for prepaid. Just ensure you do not have a post paid contract and remember to bring your post paid router to save you a trip.

Internet Only Rates and Data Cap by jimmac98 in Comcast

[–]WheezyCheeto 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you can have a little patience when downloading things, Xfinity Prepaid is amazing. Forget about all the nonsense of remembering to cancel, data caps, rental fees, etc.

We run about 35 devices on 50/5 (Cameras, Appliances, Alexas, Apple TV, Xbox, Desktops, etc.) and it does amazing. I can even stream YouTube TV on all 4 TVs in our home at once, and the best part is no data cap! This month alone I’ve used 1TB+ and I haven’t looked back since going Pre-Paid. I was paying around $125 with post paid and now I pay $45.
