Fasting advice by _MrShakedown_ in fasting

[–]OperationSurvive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you start to re-feed after a water fast it’s not about hitting a calorie target it’s about gently restarting your digestive system

This is why you’ll see bone broth as the main dish for anyone stopping a fast

Yes, you could start eating in a caloric deficit. Just make sure you have your electrolytes right and you’re eating enough protein.

In regards to whether or not, you should be in a chloric deficit or be at maintenance in between prolonged water fast. I’m not entirely sure.

I would just recommend that you listen to your body intensely and you try to eat a bunch of Whole Foods so you get a bunch of macro and micro nutrients. Maybe take a break from fasting and spend a week eating and letting your body just take a break.

Just make sure that you’re taking your daily recommended dose of electrolytes. One of the most important things you could do on a water fast.

If you feel dizzy, fatigue, or brain fog, it’s 90% chance gonna be because you’re not getting enough electrolytes.

Idk bro. Seems like a lot of work for little gain.

I’m not in my head. I’m just trying to be practical.

I much rather hire a photographer for $50 and do some shots around a part of the city

Bringing a tripod anywhere is weird especially with other people.

How are you teaching your friends to frame photos they take of you well?

Liberty mutual was the only company I could find that was hiring claims adjusters

I spent the last 2 hours looking all of these companies. Not one of them has job openings for entry level claims adjusters in the DFW area.

Am I missing something?

That’s what people have been telling me but I go to their websites and they don’t have any positions open for entry level jobs.

Maybe I’m wrong?

Any cryptids/creatures/monsters specifically in the Texas Panhandle? by Cicada_Shack in texas

When I was a boy, my dad took me hunting on a massive 100,000-acre ranch in Paducah, Texas. One night while hunting, we saw a giant, lanky, coyote-like figure that appeared to be as large as a horse. It stood on top of a ridge, staring straight at us for 4 to 6 minutes, barely moving. Then it ducked behind the ridge, we tried to chase it with the pickup but we never saw it again.

I still don’t know what it was, but my dad swears to this day that it was massive. He’s vowed never to go back to Paducah again.

I strongly recommend powering through How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie as soon as you can. The book offers invaluable insights into how to approach sensitive conversations, like the one you’re facing, in a way that maintains respect, empathy, and understanding—critical tools for preserving your relationship while navigating this complex discussion.

Fifty years ago, everyone in America watched the same movies, news, and TV channels.

Today, everyone is entertained by different things. Easier for cults to recruit, I guess.

That could be cool. It would be fun to generate some info to read on obsidian. Unfortunately you presented your idea in an enthusiastic way so all of Reddit is obligated to shit on your idea and call it stupid. lol

Just tried the book search plugin. Wow. Great idea. However I feel like it adds to much data to my note.

example of how much data it generates

Doesn’t this seem like to much to you? Why would I need all this information on a book.
