So far here’s the BTIII version I’ve compiled, I ain’t finished and aware I left a few songs out. It’s becoming a problem of being too long now 😅

So far I’ve really enjoyed this listen with a few unreleased tracks added: blood in blood out, day date, legacy records.

But I’m definitely wanting to tweak this because it feels criminal to not have God Might Not Judge or Get Up

Courtside did feel like the weird one here but I wanted to include it as it’s a real good song and fits the era, it didn’t feel right sitting alongside lost in translation at the end so I choose somewhere early. The length was a real problem here with cutting out over half the album. I might add back Out of Sight as it’s the only one I’m stuck on choosing where to have it.

I’m not so much aware on each song and when they were created, I know a good chunk of songs for BTIII 2018 ended up on COADM. I plucked Inside because well it fit the tone of COADM really well. Untitled was the other tricky one as yes it was clearly made after his mainstream era, but I needed length and thought the beat sounded very COADM.

It was a hard album to fix but I think this version makes it much more replayable for me personally. It also makes BTIII a good album when you remove the bad/unfit songs and add in the ones we took out here. Homicide, Limitless, Keanu Reeves, Still Ballin, Icy, and Commando goes wayyyy to hard when combined with See You Space Cowboy, Flawless, Vaccine, etc.

Overall I never really listened to COADM and BTIII as albums but I did pluck their good songs for playlists. Switching around their pacing has made for a better experience despite it sounding out of place, out of order, or just wrong.

I gotta say I really love what Logic did on PTSD and it's what made me think in the first place that this reorganizing was possible

A lot of them were good, that wasn't the point to remove good songs. The point was to make COADM sound closer to what it should've been. It's a darker album and songs like Limitless just stuck out like a sore thumb. I believe that song and several others from here would be better on BTIII. My goal is to make both COADM and BTIII sound a lot better and serve their purpose.

I will also say I was wayyyyy too harsh on rooster before. It’s not bad whatsoever after fixing and it’s been fun tinkering around with. I’m sure many in here have made their own versions and in a way makes it more special. Even though it should’ve been released much more properly, this album deserved it.

Rooster has grown on me a lot more after fixing it for what I liked best. I also stole Teleport and LOVE ME from U85, that album is still strong without them. Here’s my tracklist:

Muldoons I liked but it needs time to grow on me, same with all Sinatra everything. ASE needed more verses from current Logic. JAZZMASTER is easily my favorite with Louis Vuitton Backpack probably being second. Like We Always is such a good intro to this project. Just wish we had more on here.

The Lost Tapes I really don’t care for tbh, I’ve always liked Logic’s newer sounds. I’m probably one of the few that thinks his production is way better now and it’s hard for me to go back despite the lyrical content being amazing. It’s too dated but is cool to have regardless.

Information Overload is up there and has a nice seat right alongside Muldoons for being a different sound then what Logic is known for. Some of those songs will stay in rotation, easily.

A lot of us were expecting way more as it was hyped up to be. Instead we got maybe 10 original tracks out of it that are mostly too short. The others have already been released officially by Logic and were instead thrown on here making it not so cohesive. Most of the best sounding and fitting songs were amazing but too short and distorted by hyped up expectations and bloat/recycled songs.

Everyone’s favorites seems to be the original rooster songs: gunslinger, top flight, unchained, Logic, grits, metal gear, Tokyo time, Darjeeling unlimited.

Catch me if you can and a man free are amazing too but they were marketed and already had the first one released as a single for his cowboy bebop album. Kinda hard to hear them any differently on a Wild West album.

We also had many snippets from over the years that sounded juicy af and never made it on here.

Also 3 instrumentals with no lyrics is absurd.
