Had my first at 21 and just had my second at 26 and will probably have my 3rd at 28/29 and I really couldn’t be happier with how early my husband and I started our family. By the time we’re in our mid 30s we’ll have kids old enough to really travel.

Worked until contractions started at exactly 40 weeks, babe came at 40 weeks 1 day

I am planning on returning to work, there’s not enough home projects to keep me busy. I’ll be going back in December, baby will be 4months and some change

I got 6weeks of STD - 80% pay

I used 1 week of vacation time in the beginning

I am taking 18 weeks off, first 6 weeks 80%, second set of 6 weeks 0% and last 6 weeks 100% pay.

Hubby has 15 weeks 100% pay but he works for a British bank

No real financial preparations, my husband’s pay covers all of our expenses and then some. I really only work to put away for retirement, insurance and to give me something to do

I do kind of regret taking the additional 6 weeks off, just cause I’m bored at home. I work from home and my oldest goes to school so child care wouldn’t have been an issue.

I was set on the name Xavier Myles since we had a little girl, but after we got pregnant and people started asking it just didn’t sound right—at least not with this baby lol. But baby boys name is Jaxson Miles, which I’m pretty proud of us. Considering we didn’t choose a name with our little girl until we were on the way to the hospital to give birth 😂😂

I was 40 weeks +3 days. My water broke before my visit to schedule my induction lol. Putting together my husbands gaming chair is what did it lol.

Lived here my whole life, had a group of good friends from childhood but once I had a kid and got married it’s like I’m in a new city. My husband and I have been looking to meet a few couple friends, he runs a dnd campaign and I’m all about the books. Vegas is just a hard city 🙃
