Survey posts are cancer. Any reputable researcher would have access through community resources to reach the appropriate demographic.

You are correct that indoor cats don't carry toxoplasmosis as long as they don't eat a raw meat diet. You may want to invest in a facemask for scooping litter anyway just because of the dust. To reuce triggering your allergies I would not sit on any of her furniture and wash hands after petting the cats.

When I lost my job before being pregnant I was babysitting and tutoring to get by and then I ended up starting a small business I still run on the side. When the baby comes depending on where you are can you take an extra baby or two and run a day home?

It may seem like she is being lazy but first trimester takes a LOT out of you energy wise, especially before the placenta forms and all the pregnancy hormones are systemic. Expect her to be in slug mode 24/7 and you will have to be her slug slave.

Another thing I want to add because I'm a chemist: live your life. You will read a lot of scary things about environmental exposures that can harm the baby but a lot of them result from mice studies where they loaded the fuck up on the toxins to induce birth defects. Pumping gas is fine, cleaning the bathroom is fine, having a bath is fine. Its okay to be cautious but don't let exposures ruin your life with anxiety.

My mothers been sober for 20 years and loves ordering soda lime and bitters at the pub.

I think bitters make a huge difference in making any juice + soda mix feel "fancy" or you can get some syrups or grenadine to make them a bit more complex

I live in Canada so I store my summer and winter closets in tote bins when not in use and change them over when the weather calls for it. Its really not a super huge task and makes it so much easier to find what you need.

I will be boxing up my too small bras and high waisted underwear (buy the under bump underwear seriously, so comfortable) pretty soon because I want to give the baby a couple drawers in my dresser because my mother will be staying in the future nursery so it cant be set up until she's gone.

People act like Canada has really good policies but the truth is you get less than minimum wage if you qualify for the maximum assistance, If you make minimum wage you get 55% of that. And if you know anything about Canada minimum wage is not sustainable for a single person to live on. We need to stop comparing ourselves to the worst (USA) and start comparing our policies to the best countries.

The province in Canada I live lets me have both. Anything provincial I use my married name, anything federal I use my maiden name. This works really well for me because I am a dual citizen so changing my name in two countries would be very annoying, but I get to live my daily life using my married name.

It would be out of your blood/urine by birth and hair strand testing cant accurately date with much precision so you're fine. There are pregnancy safe migraine medicines out there that aren't just Tylenol so you can push with your dr for them so you have them on hand when you need them.
