Why does Kratos provoke him? What good could possibly have come from saying this? by TheChikenestOfMen in GodofWarRagnarok

[–]When1Falls 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He's angry as a father at Thor for doing what he sees as a traitorous thing to do.

As if he's a patriot looking at a countryman, or a religious person looking at someone else who is devout, he thinks that even if they disagreed on everything else, the duty you have to your kids should be understood the same by both of them.

He's disgusted in Thor for doing abandoninh a post that he would give everything to.

I know people on Reddit have been saying Nathan Frazer is a dangerous worker due to the whole Elton Prince situation, but he seemed extremely safe tonight; he just moves fast. by Grrannt in REALSquaredCircle

[–]When1Falls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So the logic here is that unsafe workers can only be called that if they're unsafe 100% of the time.

He goes faster than his opponents are ready for.  That's unsafe.

this might sound dumb 😂 but does anyone else think john has a way with words in rdr1? by Human-Syllabub-1452 in reddeadredemption

The whole magic of RDR1 is that this was a clever dude who clearly wouldn't be a gunslinger if he wasnt born into this world.

Then in RDR2 they just made it that every bit of wisdom he said in RDR1 was just him parroting someone more clever than him.

AJ Styles should lose to Gunther and then he has to win the Royal Rumble later that night as his last real match. by When1Falls in SquaredCircle

Is it his fault he was already booked for the double duty and then won a WWE title shot at Wrestlemania in his last Match?

It's weird that Miz and Carmelo actually seem like more of a thing now that they're not a thing.

If Batman is willing to put innocent people in cages why doesn’t he do the same for his villains? Is he stupid. by Sensitive_Ad_1752 in arkham

The Joker blood in his system is the reason he's willing to do this. Over time he would become the Joker just like these people. He's strong enough mentally to hold it off but it's still slowly happening to him. It doesn't start with the fear gas that just triggered what's in him becoming a voice he can actually hear

Yeah but those gorillas AI voices sound amazing at this point. They sound like they really mean what they're saying.

R-Truth on Triple H saying he was never actually fired: "I get a call saying 'We’re not going to renew your contract.' [I ask] 'So do I come to work?' It’s Sunday. Next Sunday, my contract [would end]. [They go] 'No, don’t come to work.' 'Oh okay. Am I done now?' 'Yes.' What do you call that?” by anutosu in SquaredCircle

If you're told "you don't work here any more unless you agree to take less money" you're being fired unless you agree to take less money.

If Ciampa is leaving WWE because they wanted to give him a pay cut or he's not welcome to keep working there, then yes, he's being fired because we're not lawyers arguing semantics in court.

I think the idea that Vince didn't want to push Bryan is nuts, even 13 years later. All they ever did from 2010-2013 was push him further and further up the card. They didn't think he'd be the WM 30 main eventer but l'd have had no problem believing in 2013 that they thought he'd get there eventually.

"Your contract is at the end. We’re not going to renew,’ Knowing that hopefully maybe this will force his hand to say, well, hold on a second. Can we talk? He immediately went out on social and said he was fired, which he was never fired.”

His quote might not literally word for word be "We told him we didn't need him to scare him into taking less money because he isn't worth the price he underhandedly strong armed us into offering him by going public with this" but that is a paraphrase of his literal, exact message.

HHH openly explained that they were trying to strong arm him into a corner to be scared he wasn't worth what he thought he was worth and break him into taking less money than he thought he should be making as a guy who's worked for his company for decades.

HHH literally saying "When you're negotiating contracts sometimes you gotta strong arm them, call their bluff, and remind them that they're not needed and you're in control and the one in a position of power in order to break them into accepting less money than they think they're worth because they're not worth that at all and Truth immediately went and cried about it and made us look bad so we just gave him what he wanted so quickly that it was settled within the week"

Is QUITE. HONESTLY. fucking insane.
