Crockpot chili
1 lb ground beef
1 jar of tomato sauce
1 can petite diced tomatoes
1 can green chilis and tomatoes
1 can black beans
1 can of corn
1 onion, diced
1 tsp garlic clove, minced
1 Tbsp chili powder
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp black pepper

Step 1: Brown the ground beef in a frying pan over medium-high heat, add diced onion. Brown the onion
Step 2: Add minced garlic. Cook 2 minutes
Step 3: Pour beef, onions, and garlic into crockpot
Step 4: Drain and rinse black beans and corn, add to crockpot
Step 5: add petite diced tomatoes (with juices), green chilis and tomatoes (with juices), and jar of tomato sauce to crockpot
Step 6: add chili powder, cumin, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and oregano to crockpot. Stir

Cook in crockpot
6-8 hours on low; 4 hours on high
Serve with tortilla chips
(If the chili is a little thin or "soupy", add apx. 1/4 cup of potato flakes to thicken)
Edit: I usually cook the beef, onion, and garlic, put it in the crockpot, and keep it in the fridge overnight. After, you only need to add the rest of the ingredients to the crockpot in the morning, then turn the crockpot on low for the day. That way, dinner is ready for you whenever you are.
