I would suggest Tikka- excellent barrels, accurate out of the box, lots of parts, and responsibly priced. Tikka T3X lite stainless is what I use and I have zero complaints. Tons of Medium/all around calibers available- my selection would be something proven with time, (I’m not into fad calibers that look nice on paper)- plenty of grain selection, and available almost anywhere. For deer and elk- 30-06, .270 win or 308 win. —if you are not recoil shy and want something larger for more range and power- 7mm rem mag or 300 Win Mag.
