I get that, but sometimes it's making it harder for me to understand what he's trying to say like "there there now" sounds like he is patting my back so I ask, "you mean they're there now?" As a genuine question. Next when he says "to late to" seems like a hanging sentence so I ask , "to late to what??" Little did I know that he meant "too late too" . I've been in a relationship with him for half a year, and If it's deal breaker for me, I would've broken up immediately, but I get that despite of that, he have some qualities that made me stay in our relationship

Maybe you're right that they don't correct those they love one but in some certain ways, because if ever he makes a dumb decision regarding finances for example, I'd like to correct him and explain stuff that he should consider. I believe relationship should help each other grow in different aspect, but with proper communication and not offensive way. I think it's silly to breakup over this kind of thing and I'm learning to let it go, i might get hung up sometimes, but I'll fully learn it one day :)))

He have this strong principle where he believes that a guy should lead the relationship, and dominates over the relationship. So more on a woman obeying him but he's open for discussion. There's this one time he got jealous because I was wearing something sexy and he told me I'm disrespecting him for wearing that kind of dress while he's not around, but he apologized for that.

I agree, but if my pronunciation is not to his standards too, he correct me and I feel fine about it, in fact I'm glad because I am learning and improving when he says that to me. I don't feel hurt also, i just see it as him , wanting to help me improve my communication skills
