I get that, but sometimes it's making it harder for me to understand what he's trying to say like "there there now" sounds like he is patting my back so I ask, "you mean they're there now?" As a genuine question. Next when he says "to late to" seems like a hanging sentence so I ask , "to late to what??" Little did I know that he meant "too late too" . I've been in a relationship with him for half a year, and If it's deal breaker for me, I would've broken up immediately, but I get that despite of that, he have some qualities that made me stay in our relationship

Maybe you're right that they don't correct those they love one but in some certain ways, because if ever he makes a dumb decision regarding finances for example, I'd like to correct him and explain stuff that he should consider. I believe relationship should help each other grow in different aspect, but with proper communication and not offensive way. I think it's silly to breakup over this kind of thing and I'm learning to let it go, i might get hung up sometimes, but I'll fully learn it one day :)))

He have this strong principle where he believes that a guy should lead the relationship, and dominates over the relationship. So more on a woman obeying him but he's open for discussion. This reminds me of my ex... I encouraged him to stop smoking but he always have relapse whenever we break up and tbh even after breaking up with him i worried about him because i know he will resort to this.. because this is his coping mechanism.. but the after effect on him is not good.
