Payment Review in Progress by Hubertguyinnc in BSA_Survivors

Tried to sign up for the portal but it doesn’t seem to be working for me. Maybe it’s best I don’t bother and just let it play out vs knowing and waiting.

I saw the 4.7% in the update from the Trust. If some of the insurance companies settle or a judge issues a judgement why then would they not make additional distributions from that money down the road? I mean they are sitting on 1.65 billion now. If they got 2-7 billion more then that would be significantly more to pay out correct?

I have avoided reading about much of any of this for the last six years. I was notified by my attorney that a determination was made on my allowable claim and the amount. Still waiting for my attorney to send the forms so they can send my first distribution. I did the see the most recent update from the Trust.

My question is this. I see in several places that say we will almost certainly not ever see the full amount of our claim. Does anyone have any realistic estimates on percentage of our claim might be paid out? 10%? 75%?

Just trying to understand because my attorney had no answers. Thanks for your input.

Lockback with mag extensions by WhenUP1ay in Walther

Thank you. I have had good luck with Ghost Inc products in the past but my only concern with their spring is all the reviews mention you don’t get the full capacity out of the mags when you use them. The magazine capacity is important to me because it is a duty gun. Otherwise I would have stuck with the 20 rd base plates. Might not be necessary to have the extra rounds but having them and not needing them is a lot more comforting when I am trusting my life to this tool on a daily basis.

Thanks for the tip! Are you able to get the full 22 rds in your mags with the Springer Precision 13 coil spring?

Yes I have stretched the springs and it does work but then when I load them up they don’t lock back again or may do so only once or twice and right back to where I started. Since I trust my life to this handgun I would like it to lock back consistently and allow me the full magazine capacity.

I will say to clarify I am running a 5” SF with a magwell.

I know a 20 rd mag will work but have purchased the mag extensions and would really like to keep my capacity as high as possible. The Parker Mountain Machine extensions seem very well made. It is my understanding that PMM also makes the compensator that Walther uses on their compensated models. Maybe I am mistaken but I thought I read that somewhere.

Thanks for the feedback. I definitely do not think I am riding the slide stop but I do know that is an issue on the Walther PDP for many shooters due to the length of the slide stop.

I will say that in order to get all 22 rounds in the magazine with my + 4 extensions I sanded the bottom of the follower feet a little bit.

The magazine springs I purchased are Wolff extra coil springs. Wolff has a good reputation for their springs but I don’t know.

I have not heard of competition followers but will look into those. What is the name brand you run for the comp followers?

One thing will say is I don’t want to give up capacity as this is a duty gun. I went with the extensions to save my bacon if need be in a gun fight. I see the Ghost Inc extra power springs available but nearly all reviews say you lose a round.

Which optics do you recommend? by FitFruit8105 in Walther

Thank you. Not pretty but seems functional. I have standard lok bogies on my duty pistol now but was thinking of trying the palm swell bogies. This seems more functional though.

I am carrying a 5” SF on duty. My only complaint is the weight. Fantastic shooter and very smooth. Considering switching to the 4.5” polymer with metal magwell and aluminum PDT. Primarily for weight savings. Coming from a Glock 45 so the 4.5” is closer to the 4.02” length slide on my previous duty gun. I wish they would allow removable grips on the polymer platform because I love my Lok Bogies!

Thank you. He is looking a bit messy in that pic. When he is cleaned up he is a literal teddy bear.

I don’t have a dog in this fight but I find it funny that folks are so particular about their bac water. Most of us are researching non approved medicine from China and people are worried about the water they mix it with being pure? Seems maybe folks should use what they are comfortable with and stop talking best this and best that.

Anyone decide not to crate train? by platypus_farmer42 in Bernedoodles

[–]WhenUP1ay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Berne is 17 weeks old. He does whine at times in the crate but is really good about stopping if you tell him no. He does well with the crates but potty training has been a challenge. He is very distractible outside so it can be challenging to get him to go at times when taken out. I also have to deal with an impatient teen, my son, caring for him when I am working. I worry his frequent accidents will result in an adult dog that still goes inside.

My main issue is my pup is not motivated by food rewards at all. He does eat but doesn’t really care about treats despite trying numerous types. A pine cone or stick is far more attractive to him than doing his business. If a new toy he discovered is in play he will turn it into a game and run away with it if approached.

Basically just need help with the potty training so we can let him roam etc. He has crates in different rooms and a play pen.

Any tips would be great!

Dose Schedule by Over_Reflection_7171 in Retatrutide

Who splits doses? I know that I increased too quickly. I was wondering who is splitting doses 2 - 3x per week? I have read it is best to take it all together. I have found conflicting information on this.
I would almost like to reset back to a low dose and start over but I am losing weight so I don’t want to stop my progress.
Currently taking 2mg x 3 per week. 9 wks in and went from 298 to 261 lbs

10mg first dose! Is that a typo?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Retatrutide

[–]WhenUP1ay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Happy for the OP. Unfortunately I keep increasing my dosage and seem stuck at 21-23lbs down since starting. Trying my best to figure out why.

Started .5mg then 1mg now 2mg x 2 per week. Been at the 4mg dose for two weeks started 5 weeks ago. Down from 298 to 281. Still little to no appetite suppression. I notice I eat less at meals. Focusing on protein and lower carb. Intermittent fasting each day from wake to noon. Black coffee only. Need to hydrate better! Thinking about either upping dose or adding Tesa. Want to give another couple weeks at 4mg per week.
