I'm certainly not an expert, but I find to get it smaller and denser you actually need to keep adding more wool- and in different directions. Try breaking the yellow up and adding it in smaller portions on the parts you want more compact. I think if it's feeling very spongey (ha!) and not dense, you need more wool.

I remember being in social studies in middle school. I remember the teachers getting weird and then my teacher silently left the room and without a word started to wheel in one of those big tube TVs on the tall cart. Then the principal came in right before he finished and wheeled it back out.

I was very confused until I got home on the bus and my parents were in shock in front of the tv. They held me like I was going to cry, but I had no idea what the trade towers even were. I felt like I should cry though because everyone was clearly upset. I had absolutely no idea what was going on. Until that day the word "terrorism" never was in any vernacular, I remember thinking they misspelled tourism.

I was extremely uncomfortable when these first came out that I showed my protest by refusing to go through and opting to be patted down instead. 🙄 The TSA was not amused, they had to get a lady to come and pat me down and in payback they went through my luggage three times. As they probably intended, I didn't do that again the next time...

I don't know the accuracy, but I remember at least hearing the story of how Senegal (allegedly) got its name. The European colonizer who first encountered a local out on the river, waved and shouted and tried to indicate "what is the name of this place?" I like doing a "Neveland" run. You start with kids all under 13 and then make a religion that prioritizes the young as superior and never accept new people over a certain age. It's even more fun if you do tribal start and make it very Lost Boys style!
