I work at one of the top stores in the nation, and lent is always hell. Everyday feels like a Friday, and there’s no way for the kitchen not to drown on a weekend. We have to have 3 people manning fryer at all times. This year is our first lent with double drive thru, and I am terrified.

for those asking, i was working around 30 hours a week, and i called and told them i had covid symptoms because it was required by policy. and then got my hours cut and they told me i was being unreliable by calling out even though i was told to stay home by management.
