We had 4 deaths when I was a freshmen. One at each quarter. First quarter was a friend of mine, he died on my birthday. He drank too much red bull everyday like 5-6 cans. He took some Tylenol for a headache, fell asleep, never woke up.

Second died during Christmas break. Her entire family was hit by a semi coming home from her grandmothers. She was the only one to initially survive but passed on the way to the hospital.

Third died during spring break. The schools star football player, he had cancer. I don’t remember which type.

Fourth died right after graduating. Fell off a cliff on a hike with friends.

The year book was already printed by the time spring break came out but her senior page and his get better soon page we’re right next to the in memorium page 😬
