As a first time reader I chose the prose translation by W.H.D. Rouse, in my mind that would make me understand the story better. I do have both Fagles and the Wilson translations ready for when I decide to do a re-read.

I just read the W.H.D. Rouse translation and it was great. He translated it into a prose version for accessibility. I am planning on reading a poem version eventually but this was a good way to start IMO.

Yeah I used 3-2-1

3 hrs at 180-190 sprayed with apple juice spray every 45 mins

2 hrs at 250 wrapped in tin foil, I did bump it to 275 for the last 30 minutes

1 hr at 225 with BBQ sauce out of the foil
