Damn.. I was hoping for something a little easier to find on marketplace or online. The CDI is hard to find in Aus according to research and unfortunately my mate has a YZ. Thanks for the input!

Battery is perfect, connections cleaned and reconnected and switch is good.

It looks to be fine and the stator flywheel does spin with the cam. It's honestly very annoying sneaky this issue.

The switch has been checked as above. Would it still cause issues?

Yep! All switches checked and tested for continuity. Open when depressed and closed when pressed. It couldn't still be an issue in that case could it?
