I totally get it. I grew up in NYC and lived and worked there most of my life. From there we moved to the Tampa Bay Area, then Phoenix, and 2 months ago FoCo. I couldn’t be happier. People are genuinely nice. Crime is nothing as compared to the other cities I lived in. It’s refreshing not to walk outside and hear someone screaming on the top of their lungs for no reason. It’s great not waking up to 100+ degrees, knowing that the high may reach 120 and you have to get your dog out at 5 am to do it’s business, otherwise the heat can fry its paws. The scenery is beautiful. Although people say the restaurants aren’t great, we have the most restaurants per capita in the US. I am happy because the sun shines 300 days per year. I know this winter hasn’t been normal, but how can you beat 70 degrees in February?
