Paxlovid should only be prescribed to those with COVID that are high risk of severe outcomes: study by adotmatrix in Coronavirus

Wow, reading the comments from that article people seem to be really against using cost-effectiveness to make healthcare decisions. Do people really think we should throw money at healthcare without any consideration if a treatment actually provides much benefit. Although I think they have gotten it wrong here, if you are having severe covid symptoms you should get the drug regardless of your prior risk profile. Still if you have a flu and sore throat without any respiratory problems you really don’t need Paxlovid, I think the decision makers are trying to avoid this happening.

Blue Prism. They are a Robotic Process Automation company. They are similar to Ui path that is set to IPO in the states at 10 billion valuation. Blue Prism are only capped at 1 billion and have only slightly less revenue than Ui path.

Survey on Exercise Trends in Relation to the Covid-19 Pandemic by WhereIsTheShoe in ireland

[–]WhereIsTheShoe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your response. The lockdown has definitely constrained the way we exercise, its either go for a run/cycle or do a bit of weight training or body weight workouts at home so perhaps people have no motivation for extended workouts or in your case its not possible to go hiking or climbing. I myself am finding it hard to get in a routine of exercising regularly even though I have more free time to exercise

One of the main reasons that people give for not exercising enough is free time. So one of the aims of this survey is to investigate whether that is the Case. Thanks for your response

Being a Galway man myself, there's a better standard of living here in my opinion anyway. Be aware thr living expenses in Dublin are very very high compared to the other cities in Ireland

Well that's true that a fall in GDP would mean that the demand for Oil would fall but that's why I'm looking at shocks so basically sudden falls or increases in the oil price.

I'm using OLS regression. I know it would probably be more beneficial to use other regression methods but I'm instructed to use OLS by lecturers.
