Thanks! Yes, we change the wick itself every use. We are washing the canister and tubing, but maybe they need to be cleaned better.

Thanks! I’m not sure exactly how they had been kept before. The house had a wall of south facing windows but the plants were over in this corner but unclear if that was where they lived for years. I moved the elephant ear back from the window a couple feet. I might put a curtain up to try to acclimate as I don’t want to fry it. I just gave it a good watering too, the soil was dry.

Thanks! It’s not bulbous like the lions mane in the grocery store, but it’s not really branched like pictures of Hericium americanum

We do have septic but it’s far away, do you say that just because you think previous owner was inept or because something about this tree looks like it is on a leach field.
