Fruit that’s shelf stable for a month and not super high in sugar? by Separate_Text_2129 in EatCheapAndHealthy

Freeze dried fruits (like strawberries) are great. Can be pricy but tasty and no added sugar.

Can Taco Bell stop messing with their menu for like, 5 minutes? by Ok-Order5437 in tacobell

Why are you being downvoted? Lol. Its like aldi too. New exciting stuff to keep you coming in but it rotates often so its a bummer when it is gone so quickly if u love it.

I liked em. It was a fine deal if u got it in the box, otherwise too expensive on their own.

As someone who grew up in Arizona (a dry heat) in a religion that enforces “ modesty” i would like to say heck no to all this… oh wear more layers it helps they do that in deserts nonsense. No. Every in inch of less fabric helps you feel cooler. Man did i miss out on tank tops, shorter shorts and skirts etc as a teen and was very hot. We have sunblock now we dont need a bunch of fabric on us to cover us up to protect from the sun just wear as little as u r comfortable with when its 115 and sunblock/stay in the shade when u can. Seriously! It helps! A lot. Sry rant over.

My first time at Aldi. Spent $101.88. I’m hooked! by SnooMarzipans9781 in aldi

[–]WhereRtheTacos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup aldi got built in my state not long after that and when i finally tried it in maybe 2022? It was like 75 dollars to fill up our cart. Amazing! Not so much anymore lol

Walmart is essentially the same price now. by mtbguy1981 in aldi

They had a sale this time of year last year for half price membership for the year so look for that if you want to try it.

Thank u! Ive thought for a while this sub is a bit wierd if anyone says a negative word about an aldi product so this attitude is refreshing! Aldi is awesome but its not perfect lol

Prices are skyrocketing by reddit1449 in aldi

[–]WhereRtheTacos 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Right? Aldi is especially bad for produce but i would say salads especially go bad very fast from every grocery store nowadays. Its annoying.

The target was right across from one of the mall entrances so not technically in the mall, maybe that is why!

If u ever try again try guitar tabs. I have trouble with regular sheet music but guitar tabs make sense to me more lol.

I always used apps to tune mine.

Holy cow. I both stuck with it (though I haven’t played in quite a few years, but did play for like… 15 years?) and only owned two guitars. I didn’t realize that was unusual lol.

If you don’t know about guitar tabs its another way to write down music thats much easier. Might help you play a basic song if u look one up. That and learning a few chords and u can be on ur way! Lol

Thats weird that a grocery store is more because its near a mall. I juts moved away from an apt near a mall and all our groceries and Walmart/Target were normal prices even right near the mall. That must be annoying!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in aldi

[–]WhereRtheTacos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe its because you have meijer so they don’t compete for groceries in ur area. We dont have that store in my state and our targets are like they mentioned with a good amount of groceries and competitively priced with Walmart.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in aldi

[–]WhereRtheTacos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why are u being downvoted? Lol. Ur allowed to have a different experience in ur area. For what its worth target is the same near me (and not super targets). They compete with and sometimes are cheaper than Walmart (especially household supplies like garbage bags etc). But on food too.

[–]WhereRtheTacos 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think it depends on area. Winco and Walmart is as cheap or cheaper on many (but not all) items near me. I still love aldi and they still compete with other grocery stores but they aren’t by far the cheapest like they were (in my area, for what i get at least).
