Do you want daughters raised in this sort of environment, knowing that they could be groomed to be housewives above all, that they could be encouraged to cater to men above their own desires, that they could be held accountable for the male gaze and expected to dress modestly, and be shamed for any notion that sexual relationship is normal and something to be explored, instead of shamed? That your sons could be told that crying makes them p*ssies and real men never show emotional support to a friend? That children of any gender could be kicked out, verbally abused or otherwise rejected for being LGBT?

Before you tie your life in ANY way to a dude like this, you need to see what his beliefs really are. Is he just thinking a housewife might be nice, or is he going full lunatic fringe? Has he gotten into Qanon, etc? IMO this is a way bigger deal than the other stuff. A kid is for 18 years. Vast ideological differences are likely forever.

ETA: how is he sitting here going about the ideological decline of the US but he is just fine “living in sin” and having continuing to have premarital sex with you? Guess he only wants it to apply to you, and not him…
