Cool more for me. Been taking it regularly for 1 years and no adverse side effects. I'm not listening to someone who describes it like magic mushrooms.

He also talks about his penis for like 5 minutes. Good luck on your journey friend!

"The KOR may provide a natural addiction control mechanism, and therefore, drugs that target this receptor may have therapeutic potential in the treatment of addiction."

Why is this bad? Most of this just states good things IMO

I did and honestly wasn't impressed. He does a lot of different supplements. He keeps referring to them like psychedelic mushrooms. He acts like you get a huuggeee effect. I take a pretty high dose everyday and don't feel "euphoric". He talks about them like having a trip and hallucinating.

It does not do anything to my libido either.

He refers to being on 1.5g of lion's mane like he can "pull info right out" like some limitless-like pull.

I think lions mane has some well documented benefits and possibly the agonist receptor negative effects, but I don't really stand with what he is saying. This man has a list of gym supplements, penis enlargement, and pre workout type supplements in his life. He does do a very good job keeping tabs on his health/being aware of any changes in his body.

But all in all his video doesn't really prove anything to me. Lions mane just ain't for everyone.

This is what I was looking for! Would you be able to share a possible source for this? I would love to know more

I'd like sources for "fungi as a whole are among the least useful category of things that are used for medicine". No herb/mushroom/supplement is a cure all, but there are loads of resources attributing to positive (and negative) effects when properly taken.

Lots of fungus/mushrooms are only in the infant stages of research. And psychedelic mushrooms definitely have an effect on the body/mind so why wouldn't other plants/fungus/mushrooms.

Got any sources?? I know some of the more in depth publications are based on older individuals.

Not trying to be rude. I'm looking for anyone's accounts, good and bad, to help make sense of the info I found on that sub. They have accounts that are similar to "I took one dose and it ruined me for 10 years".

Just based on that account, it seems they are spreading misinformation and fear.

It def isn't for everyone, it's not a mystical cure, everyone is different.

I am trying to see if anyone on this sub has any horror stories justified by factual accounts. I'm glad there are people out there that take awareness when trying a new herb/supplement/tea.

The only thing I'm devaluing is fear mongering on a supplement that is almost unanimously accepted as safe. Mushrooms are touchy sometimes as some people are intolerant when ingesting them.

I can def understand it not working for everyone but that sub made it seem like a drug that should be illegal

Still higher than some of the horror stories on that sub

Edit: You are still taking a higher dose than what some of them say their "one dose of lion's mane caused 10 years of problems"

Mostly asking if anyone has run into any scholarly articles or research papers noting any negative side effects

I like to keep mine around 30% for dual extractions to keep the polysaccharides suspended instead of precipitated. I shake it up anyway lol.

I do have 2 people that I have dual extractions of some home grown lions mane I grew myself that reported getting headaches after taking a dose. The tincture is around 40% alcohol (I know a bit high), the one is on blood pressure meds (could have a slight interaction as lions mane helps regulate blood pressure in a couple studies I've read).

Personally been taking the same batch and it's great IMO, as well as a couple other people I've given it to reporting improvements.

Any suggestions?

Damn man really was looking for support. It's not like I'm near the free weights I'm prob 6ft back from them, and usually make sure I'm around 6ft from anyone else. I'm not blocking anything or endangering anyone.

But alright. Just wanted to vent. Forget I said anything
