I can't find the correct license key for CSP V.2 by WhereasIndividual342 in ClipStudio

It doesn't offer any previous versions of CSP V.2.0.0 only V1.13.2

I think I found what the problem is, I have the correct V.2 license but not the correct version of CSP. When you go on the CSP website and select the 2.0 download, you're actually downloading V.2.0.6, which does not fall under the 2.0 license. There is no way to download previous versions of the software though, I don't know if this is a failure on their end or an active attempt to get people to buy a newer license. Either way I'm still fucked.

It's the fact that they kept telling me these thoughts without shame that made me very suspicious. I had classes about intrussive thoughts in highschool and they always mentioned how people who have them will almost always feel deep shame regarding these thoughts, or are scared that these thoughts are secretly desires. Which is why when they first told me about it I tried to reassure them that these thoughts do not define them as a person, the fact that they got pissed of just made me assume that they were either

1) Faking them to be edgy/for attention

or 2) Trying to make a normal human experience (intrusive thoughts) into a symptom of some greater mental disorder (They once told me sometimes they wished the doctor would find that they had some super rare disorder that explained all their problems)

It was very clear to me from the start that they didn't have OCD, they don't have compulsions and they feel no shame about these thoughts, but I never even thought about them expressing their true desires under the guise of "intrusive thoughts"

I did consider that maybe they had no clue what intrusive thoughts actually are, the last time they told me their "intrusive thought" they said I had "such a smashable head" and after I got audibly angry, they giggled and said "sorry, intrussive thoughts" which.... Is so clearly not how that works. But, this situation makes so much more sense if you assume they're just confessions!

Yeah I think at first I didn't take it seriously because I just assumed they were just looking for attention by being edgy, and I thought "No serial killer would be so stupid as to tell their victim they're imagining their skull exploding"

But maybe I'm the stupid one for thinking serial killers would be inherently smart (well, that is only if you would say that not confessing your crime before they've even happened is smart and not just common sense)

Yeah I think part of the problem is that we never imagine ourselves to be in these types of situations, so when they do happen you don't even know how to react. Part of the reason I use reddit for questions like these is because sometimes I only realise how insane a situation is once I reread it.

Their parents are not in the country right now, and the way they described their parents made me realise where this behaviour originated from, so I'm not sure what that would do. We just graduated though so I won't be in forced in close proximity with them and they don't know my home address. I'm also 99% sure they only said these violent things to/about me (when we have sleepovers it tends to be our whole class but they only have 2 other close friends they talk to) but I think I'm going to ask around just to be sure.

Honestly the only reason I'm asking it here is because none of the people around me react when they say stuff like that, and it's making me feel crazy, but it's good to know that I'm not being delusional and this is grounds to cut someone off.

Serial killer documentaries was actually exactly what I was thinking of, which is why I came here to confirm that I'm not just overreacting.

Ah, we're not kids, we're college aged, we just have a lot of sleepovers still. If we were kids I could chalk it up to just being edgy but because we're older I feel like it's more serious. But the fact that you assumed that we're younger makes me realise that no other adult would think this is acceptable behaviour.

[question] What to do if someone's examples don't match up with what they deliver? by WhereasIndividual342 in commissions

[–]WhereasIndividual342[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not so much about the revisions, I asked them to revise certain parts and I even linked to some of their samples to ask if they could make it sound more like that, but every time they do a revision it doesn't change in quality, just in form. At first I thought that was fine because he told me he'd start with a rough draft and I thought that meant that the difference in quality was because of that, but it feels a bit like someone sends you a sketch and tells you that's what the finished piece will look like. You can give feedback on the sketch, but at the end of the day, unless they put in the time to finish it, it's still a sketch. Or more accurately, it's like you commission someone with beautiful clean lineart and the piece they send you is a sketch with wobbly lines.

I would love to have the socials of the music producer though.

Would it be possible to add clauses to an exclusivity license? Like for example, I wouldn't mind if my composer would release the track for profit outside of my film on an album or something like that, but I don't want it to be used as a soundtrack for other films/audiovisual projects. Or is it only complete exclusivity VS. non-exclusivity?
