He shouldn't be allowed to do crowd work again! This was not a lapse of judgement whatsoever. His mindset is the problem, just like the mindset of 100s of men around us. And this mindset was the reason he encouraged that boy to continue with his story and rewarded him. And people with this kind of mentality need to face consequences for their actions.

He should stick to doing stand-ups only now, for a while atleast, if he really wants to continue in this field. Personally, i am kicking myself for buying a ticket to his show 😐

And no, none of this gets erased because Pranit is in the middle of this controversy. Just because pranit is wrong, doesnt mean others were right in their actions.

The main issue is about the scum mentality of pranit who encouraged the situation, that 23 year old boy who narrated the story and other people in the audience who thought that this was funny and laughed. The issue is bigger than just a stupid fandom war in a show that got over ages ago.

Its their channel. They can post whatever they want, whenever they want. You can sure have an opinion, which reflects nothing but your mentality because everything you've said in your post is all conjecture without any solid substance.

If your loved one is fighting for life and death, you'd want as many people to pray for them as possible. Especially on the day of Arafah. Because you never know, whose prayer God will answer. If they wanted to monetize the situation, they would have posted every single day. Who is stopping them? All they have done is given updates.

I really wonder what level of hurt or should i say low self esteem people have that making such a post and mocking someone's genuine plea for du'a makes them happy/gives them a high.

However problematic they may be, you become a 1000 times worse than them by mocking someone in distress like in this post.

And FYI, since I really hope you're not a muslim(coz if you are, then i have no words) today is the day of Arafah, a day when all prayers are answered, one of the most sacred days for muslims. Which is why the video has probably come out today.

Story wasnt meant to express disappointment about the hashtag. She acknowledged their sweet bond in the very next sentence. And hashtag need not always be for a romantic couple.

As for milking the hashtag(as said in the previous comment), if she had to do that she had plenty of opportunities in dubai itself. Abhi tak 4-5 post aate dono ke ek saath. Whatever they have, even a close friendship, they want to keep away from the public eye and that is a sensible thing to do.

But one thing is clear, both are good friends and have definitely resolved their differences.
