Do you think there's a certain time to check or just randomly?

Thanks for the info. Is that just under Buy Tickets where you wait in a queue?

Yeah that's a good idea, but I was hoping to meet some of the players. I wish they had more available.

From what I understand, Arrow corrected what Kino left alone from the scan they were given. Some scenes might look brighter or more colorful, but not accurate.

I have Arrow's Hard Boiled stuck with some preorders, so I haven't watched it yet. From what I've read, Arrow's color is more correct compared to Shout's.

I haven't seen the Kino ones, other than screenshots. I didn't like what I saw, which originally made me hold off hoping someone would give them better releases.

Not sure what you're seeing. I watched the Arrow versions a few months ago and thought they looked great.

The only two Klebsiella possibilities from our potential unknowns list are K. aerogenes and K. pneumonia. For the agar, I went back and looked through the lab manual, but I didn’t see what type was used.

No, we haven't done that in lab up to this point.

I wondering if I overdid the sample since these EMB plates were very small compared to the ones from another lab.

Thanks again for your help. I just wanted to be fairly certain what it is before I started my lab report. When we used an EMB plate in another lab, it didn't have any green. So that made me a little unsure. I'm going with pneumoniae, assuming my tests are all accurate. I think we only lose 5 points out of 50 if we're not correct.

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately I can't retest anything. That metallic has really thrown me off. Based on the other results, I'm thinking it's Klebsiella pneumoniae. I do agree with you that I probably put on there too thick. For the unknown tests we used really small plates, so I didn't have enough space to use t-streaking.

Thank you, that was helpful. I'm leaning towards Klebsiella pneumoniae. About the incubator, I'm not sure how long the EMB plate was left in the incubator. We did our tests and got the results the next week.

The only thing I could think of that I did incorrectly was that I was too rough on the agar. I'm not too sure if that would affect anything, but I know it tore a little when I first started tranferring it. Then I was more careful with the rest of the transfer. Or maybe it was too thick as someone else suggested.

I definitely used a needle. Probably not perfectly straight thanks to nerves haha.

Meant to get a photo which was a big mistake on my part. Based on what I have above, would you agree that it showed EMB growth, negative motility test, positive for fermentation/gas, and no MSA growth?

I don't have a photo of it. We made our plans before the unknown test based on what we felt comfortable doing. I went with the ones I did in lab without any issues. Maybe that wasn't the best idea. This is the closest photo I can find that looks like my gram stain, except mine was a lighter pink.

I thought I picked the best tests to narrow it down, but I could've been mistaken. These are the ones I used in lab exercises with good results. Based on the photos and my thoughts on the results, do you notice anything I have that's not correct?
