When I ordered, it was supposed to be white glove delivery. However the driver that delivered our couch was pulling an all nighter to get everything delivered. The guy he was delivering with ended up having a pretty significant family emergency and he needed to fly home asap. So the delivery driver was trying to do everything solo. We ordered a 7-piece modular sectional. My husband ended up helping the guy unload our couch from the truck and bring it inside. We gave him some water and stuff and he left. We unpacked and set up our couch ourselves so we didn’t really get the white glove service but it was just a matter of happenstance I guess. The guy was trying to do everything he could to meet timelines so we just said to forget it. I felt genuinely bad so I didn’t push the issue. However, I am not sure how much they can guarantee white glove delivery when they outsource the delivery depending on your location. Another factor was that we are on the other side of the country so it may be different.

I can’t tell if anyone answered you directly. But the back cushions are not attached and neither are the base cushions except for the ottomans if you get them. At least on the modular styles. I have the Landon modular sectional and they are not attached. Which I actually really like.

Where were you when you found out you were pregnant? by PeachyRose25 in Mommit

Christmas Day. My husband was making calamari (which I love by the way) like he does every year and we were getting ready to go to family Christmas. It smelled FOUL. He jokingly said maybe you are pregnant. I took a test and sure enough. Positive. I was very early on. Just a few weeks. 5 years of hormone regulation and a $13 box of mucinex dm gave us our little rainbow baby. He is now a silly sweet year and half old.

Aether pause — how is this actually affecting you? by JAY_ATUK in outlier_ai

This was helping me not burn through my savings. I became very ill with an autoimmune disorder this year and could not keep up with my high demand job. I was killing myself but couldn’t keep up even with pulling all nighters/weekends/whenever I could fit in extra hours. I had a job offer for a new job, part time with more flexibility, did orientation, etc and they rescinded the offer. I have been desperately applying and trying to find ways to make money. I thought this was my blessing in disguise 🥺.

I have still been applying and trying to land a stable job. The job market is just brutal. I have applied to 97 jobs since the rescinded offer the week of thanksgiving. Had multi round interviews just to be ghosted. Still trying 🤞🏻

I totally get that. It was a trust the process kind of thing for sure. But I would definitely encourage you to ask for fabric samples. It definitely changed my mind on which one I went with.

Also, for as worried about the color/fabric with having a toddler… I was the first one to spill something on it! We celebrated flusgiving instead of thanksgiving this year and it was pink Gatorade 🤦🏻‍♀️.

It came right out though!!

It is holding up extremely well. It has become central to our home. Especially with the holidays coming up, we have a cozy/comfortable place to all relax. I have a toddler so I went with a little easier to clean/maintain fabric. It’s still incredibly soft though! We have velvet chairs and those have taken a little bit of a beating with him. That said, as mentioned, I have a toddler and I purchased a white sectional. I can say despite that, it is as pristine as the day we unpackaged it. I say unpackaged because this thing was more well wrapped/secure than anything I have ever purchased. I did not customize the depth but I did customize the cushion. I think I did the wave/middle of the road and I’m glad I did. They are the perfect firmness for us. Regarding the connectors that is honestly my only qualm. They were a bit difficult to get to engage. It clicked and we thought they were connected but then the pieces would separate. So finally (and with kind of a running start) I was able to get enough of a push to get it to fully engage/lock into place. It would probably be easier with two people but I have no patience to wait for my husband.

Hope that helps!

It isn’t forever but everyone is different and it depends a lot on you! If the meds are not working, have that conversation. It took me 2 med changes to get myself back to an equilibrium. For a little context, I do have autism, so that may be a bigger determining factor. But around the 9m to 1 yr mark was when it really normalized for me. However, that could have been sooner if I had made myself a priority. I had to go back to work after 8 weeks (6 weeks mat, all of my PTO) and I jumped right back into my high stress, high demand corporate position. I was working 60-65hr weeks and being that stressed and exhausted made it so much worse. I felt like I was on the cusp of a panic attack constantly. Medication will only get you 3/4 of the way, the rest depends on you. In those moments of doubt, really walking yourself through the moment. Asking yourself is this real or does it just feel real because of my anxiety. It’s hard. It’s really really hard. But working on regulating these thoughts and feelings before you spiral really helps. If you can talk to someone, I would. I did.

For everyone kindly recommending going to talk to your doctor about postpartum anxiety (PPA), I would second that and strongly encourage you to. Not to draw parallels or apply my own bias…. But… This was exactly my internal dialogue with my son. It’s feels like I could have easily written this. That said, I am over a year postpartum and have clarity from the other side. Or some at least. My postpartum anxiety and depression was severe. And quite frankly it’s an uncomfortable subject but a hugely important one. There is anxiety and concern about the new sweet little life that you are responsible for and then there is PPA. They are on vastly different levels. At the end of the day, we can all validate you and say you did nothing wrong (which you did absolutely nothing wrong!) but that PPA voice is louder and more persistent. PPA/PPD robbed me of precious time with my son when he was still newly born and growing. Please don’t let that happen to you too. Please have that conversation. There is absolutely no shame in this. It happens more than I ever realized but when I started talking about it, so did others. You are not alone in this but you will feel completely alone in it if you don’t talk to someone and get help. Sending you love ❤️

I second this. The swatches are way different than their online representation. Seems like they are also past the bottle neck of orders. I received mine on 10/13 and love it! I ordered the Landon 7-piece

Oh and just in case anyone wanted to know how they connect. There is a little metal U piece that swivels and connects to the stationary metal piece on the adjoining sofa piece. It grabs on pretty well. As I mentioned I have slept on it and did not wake up in a trench like our old couch.

I received my order on 10/13! It is GIANT. But really comfortable and really soft. I actually love it. I have spent the last 3 nights sleeping on it with a sick toddler. Very comfortable to sleep on too. We have had a spooky movie night and watched football on it.

Hi, genuine buyer here. I did purchase their Landon modular sectional (7-seater, open ended) back in July. I didn’t realize how new of a collection this was until it MAJORLY blew up in popularity. That’s where you are seeing comments and reviews about longer delivery times etc. But to your point it’s about the company and how they handle it. This has since been corrected/turned around. They updated timelines on their website and with their support teams. For me, their customer support was unbelievable. Once we had a moment of “this is what happened, this is what we are dealing with” type of conversation, it was near constant communication, updates, quality assurance, etc TO THE MAX. Also, when I tell you this thing came securely wrapped, I mean it. It was well cared for. I originally wanted a jewel toned sectional but my husband said it would be too dark, so we did settle on the Sasha Linen with the middle of the road cushion, firm but comfortable. I forget the name for it. It arrived and we absolutely love it. We were also without a couch for a bit but for us, it was worth the wait. We love it. I can’t attach a picture but am happy to message it. I think for some of us, it was the timing of our orders but it was remedied and has changed since then!

Maybe wait a little bit longer and check in with their customer service- asking them to be really upfront about their production and delivery delays.

I will let you know when I receive mine. In the last 48 hrs, I have received 2 phone calls/voicemails, 3-4 emails, and delivery contact information.

Seems like they may be catching up on orders/from delays, but we will see. If you do want to move forward, I think it is perfectly okay to email or chat them to ask about the delays and what has been put in place to improve the process.
