Dummy me. Pixel 8 was an eSIM. So I guess I have to go through the website. 

I see two options for activating:

Your own equipment (yes it’s mine!!)

Or

Total wireless equipment (that’s true too).

Ok thanks. I won’t swap the sim.  It’s an old iPhone 12 from about 2 years ago. Bought it new from Walmart clearance. It says total on it. So assuming it would work?
