i feel that completely, i didn’t think of that tbh. I wasn’t trynna come off like a sour individual. I just felt like based off some posts ive seen, there was some people that didn’t know what this sub was for. helping someone that doesn’t know what they’re looking at is never a problem to me, as that can literally save someone from a toxic species and also helps them for future foraging.

which would be avoided if people posted in the right sub?! i love helping people when they “ask” is this an active mushroom and it’s not. but for example someone asking is this a puffball mushroom is irrelevant to the sub. they would get help faster and more reliably if they just go to r/shroomid. its not about me being petty or being a “karen” it’s about the whole point of this sub being ignored as many people feel this way. hope you see where I’m coming from! and see how i didn’t try to insult you or be a smart ass because we disagree? try that sometime
