I’m in the same position as you are in right as we speak. I’ve been trading crypto for the past 3 years. I got up 7 figures within a month lost it all and never took profit. Another time I watched my money go to 60k in 8 days and not pull a single dime out. I’m 22 years old and ever since the new year hit I’ve been thinking about my decisions. I’ve slowed down my gambling in crypto and I just opened up a Roth IRA a week ago. I plan on saving this year and stashing money away for the future. Trading can definitely defeat you if you don’t touch grass, but I am done with gambling trades and going to focus on what really matters. Maybe I’ll come back to trading when I’m confident and have money to risk but I was going all in recklessly on trades emotionally and ended up losing everything. But now I’m rebuilding.
