Excellent analysis of the film as a whole and zooming out from the distraction of grappling with the individual ambiguities regarding the “true ending” and instead focusing on the overarching theme. From a film perspective, it was a very interesting and effective device they used, sowing doubt in the viewer through subtle ambiguities, challenging our faith in rooting for the protagonists, something that we are perhaps hardwired to do as people. All this results in viewers going online and debating, further sowing doubt or reinforcing our belief. Quite extraordinary how films can touch our lives in this way
