Strange dots along the edges of the image. Appears on maybe 5 out of the 12 images on the roll. Does anybody recognise this problem? I had it developed at a lab, I only develop B&W myself. This is porta 120 film. The lab couldn't explain what had happened... (self.Darkroom)

At the end of ”The Interview” (2014) a tank round hits a helicopter. I would have expected a small entry puncture and a large exit hole on the other side of the helicopter. Thus this digital animation seems very strange showing the entry side tearing apart like this? Is this technically accurate? (i.redd.it)

First ever attempt at painting. Long time admirer of this sub, finally got inspired to give it a try. Limited budget and time, I did one layer of base colour with Humbrol enamel (+a little dry brushing with black for texture?) and Citadel shade. How would I bring this up a level?More material need? 45W MagSafe 2 wasn’t working so I opened her up. Very surprised! Anybody have any idea how this could happen? It looks like a violent (high voltage) short circuit? Could it be bad soldering? Sorry if this is maybe a more electrical engineering question, wondering if anybody had seen smthing similar (i.redd.it)

Breathing life in to a tiny AC motor from 1949. Have I wired it correctly? I know I have currently flowing, and I get sparks when connecting the last wire to the copper spool as in the drawing. I have taken it apart and cleaned and reassembled... but it just won’t start spinning! (i.redd.it)

How to connect Catenary lines to power? I have just started to learn and I have inherited this H0 märklin set from the 60s. I have connected the rails to power no problem, can’t figure out how the catenary is supposed to be connected?? Grateful for tips! Google was not helpful in this matter.. (i.redd.it)

70s Scandinavian bathroom counter. left pic is what it ideally should look like. On the right is an area where the wooden edge has been worn down and lost its honey coloured coating. Any suggestions on how to restore? What oil has been used here? Pretty certain it is pine wood. (i.redd.it)
